Mirai Keisatsu Urashiman

In 1983 Tokyo, a young man and his cat are caught in a high speed chase during a stormy night. In a sudden clap of thunder, a time slip brings him to the year 2050, in a city called Neo Tokyo. The bewildered boy, who has lost all of his memories, is caught by detective Claude as a suspicious person. Strangely enough, he finds himself being pursued by the criminal syndicate Necrime, led by the kingpin Ludovich. When the young man is revealed to be a time traveler, who ended up in the future as part of the Urashima Effect, he takes the name Ryu Urashima and becomes a detective under the supervision of Inspector Gondo. Along with detective Claude and the ex-nun Sophia, Ryu throws himself into the fight against Necrime, which operates in the shadows of Neo Tokyo.
